Yes! Delivery is available for a fee. 


Due to the fragile nature of buttercream, it is recommended that you store cakes in the refrigerator until about an hour before you are ready to serve, then serve the cake at room temperature. It should be fine if kept out at your event for a couple of hours if the event is being hosted indoors and the temperature is no higher than 75° F. If you are traveling with your cake, be sure to keep the A/C running on high at all times in the vehicle and place the cake flat on the floor of the car near the A/C vents. NEVER place your cake in the trunk. It is highly recommended that you follow these instructions, as once the cake leaves the possession of Courtney Bakes Cake, any damage caused by human error or high temperatures are the responsibility of the customer.


While I can bake with allergen-friendly ingredients and omit certain allergens from a recipe, I cannot guarantee that there will be no cross contamination within the baking environment, as the same tools may be utilized for recipes that include those allergens. If you have a specific concern, please contact me to discuss before placing your order. Courtney Bakes Cake is not liable for any allergic reactions due to guests consuming or coming into contact with the products provided.


Pricing will vary based on the complexity of your design and flavor. Things that can increase the price of an order are custom cake toppers, edible gold or silver elements, specialty ingredients, fresh flowers, etc.


Cake cutting guides that show you how to properly slice the cake in order to maximize servings are available upon request. When we are discussing your order, I will be sure to let you know what size cake will be able to feed the amount of guests you plan to have at your event. If you are concerned with having enough servings, you can always order cupcakes, cake parfaits, cakesicles or other supplemental desserts alongside your cake order. 


Yes! While my primary offerings are cakes, cupcakes, cake parfaits and cakesickles, I also offer other desserts and pastries by special request. If you are looking for something specific for your event, email courtney@courtneybakescake.com. 


REFUND POLICY: If the customer cancels their order after paying their initial deposit, no refunds will be provided as this fee secures the date and may cause other customers to be denied the chance to order. In the unlikely event that upon collection there is a detrimental issue with the order that makes it unusable for the event as agreed by both parties, Courtney Bakes Cake will make all reasonable efforts to correct the issue. If the customer chooses to keep the order in its current state, the customer will not be entitled to a refund and their final payment will be due. In these cases, the customer may receive a credit toward a future purchase as determined by Courtney Bakes Cake. If the customer refuses the order, their final payment will not be due, however the deposit remains non-refundable. It is emphasized that these situations are unlikely and Courtney Bakes Cake makes every effort to ensure customers are overjoyed with their orders. 


NO SHOWS: Customer must pick up their order at the agreed upon time. If the customer is 15 or more minutes late, Courtney Bakes Cake may reach out to arrange an alternate pick up time. Due to other scheduled pick ups and deliveries, there is no guarantee that Courtney Bakes Cake will have availability to reschedule on the same day. If the customer is unresponsive 1 hour after their scheduled pick up time, they will be considered a No Show. In an effort to avoid spoilage and waste, orders that are in a No Show status may be donated or resold and no refund of payments made will be due to the customer. Customers who have been a No Show in the past may be allowed to place a new order at Courtney Bakes Cake’s discretion, but will be required to pay their full balance upfront in order to place any future orders.
